1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DevInbox ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including without limitation users who are browsers, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.

2. Description of Service

DevInbox is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that provides email testing services for developers and QA engineers. The Service allows users to:

• Create disposable and persistent email mailboxes for testing purposes
• Receive and store emails sent to these mailboxes
• Verify email content against templates
• Integrate with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks
• Forward emails and configure webhooks
• Manage teams and collaborate with other users

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright or trademark laws)
• Send spam, phishing emails, or any malicious content
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Use the Service to violate the privacy or rights of others
• Exceed the usage limits specified in your subscription plan
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

5.1 Subscription Tiers

DevInbox offers multiple subscription plans with different features, usage limits, and pricing. Current plans include Developer (Free), Team, Business, and Enterprise tiers.

5.2 Billing

• Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice
• You are responsible for all taxes applicable to your subscription

5.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made through the Service.

5.4 Subscription Changes and Cancellation

You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time. Changes will be reflected in your next billing cycle. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

6. Usage Limits and Rate Limiting

Each subscription plan has specific usage limits (e.g., operations per month, number of mailboxes, email retention periods). We reserve the right to:

• Enforce rate limits to ensure fair usage and service stability
• Suspend or terminate accounts that exceed their plan limits
• Throttle or restrict access if usage patterns threaten service availability

7. Data and Content

7.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of emails and data stored in your mailboxes. However, by using the Service, you grant us a license to:

• Store, process, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the Service
• Forward emails and trigger webhooks as configured by you
• Delete content according to your subscription plan's retention policy

7.2 Data Retention

Email content is retained according to your subscription plan. After the retention period expires, emails will be permanently deleted. You are responsible for exporting any important data before it expires.

7.3 Prohibited Content

You may not use the Service to receive, store, or process content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or violates any rights. We reserve the right to remove such content and suspend accounts without notice.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by DevInbox and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or included software without our written permission.

9. API Usage

If you use our API, you agree to:

• Use the API in accordance with our API documentation
• Not attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the API
• Respect rate limits and usage restrictions
• Keep your API keys secure and not share them with unauthorized parties
• Accept that we may modify or discontinue the API with reasonable notice

10. Team Collaboration

If you use team features, you are responsible for:

• Managing team members and their access levels
• Ensuring team members comply with these Terms
• Maintaining appropriate security for shared resources
• Removing team members who no longer need access

11. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may:

• Perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice when possible
• Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time through your account settings.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT
• WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE
• WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF THE SERVICE

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEVINBOX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DevInbox and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
